Opened in March 2006, Dish Gourmet is a Boulder deli on the east end of Pearl Street offering fresh and inventive gourmet sandwiches, prepared foods to eat in or takeout, a full array of catering services, boxed lunches, sandwich platters, and specialty foods such as cured meats and salumi, cheese, and local Boulder natural food products. Everything on the menu is created fresh using the very best ingredients available. Meats are locally sourced from outstanding, independent farmers and then roasted in-house, everyday.
“Scrawled across a chalkboard that spans the width of this three-table space are the dozens of sandwiches assembled in the kitchen at Dish. Turkey, avocado and cranberry come together in the Gobbler; the Piglet pits ham against Emmental cheese; and vegetarian options like the Tuscan — white bean spread, avocado, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes and gruyere on ciabatta — are delicious even if you’re a carnivore. The soups and the prepared foods are also worth your attention, especially if you don’t have time to wait in the inevitably long lunchtime line.” Westword: Denver’s Five Best Non- Jewish Delis
“Boulder commuters should swing by
Dish Gourmet for a gourmet sandwich that can be eaten with one hand on the wheel. The “Which Came First?” comes on freshly baked ciabatta that hugs two farm-fresh eggs, Long Family Farm bacon, and melted Muenster cheese.”

“I pedal from my hotel to Dish Gourmet, a new-school deli that house-cures many of their meats. The Whittier sandwich (speck, pâté, Brie, apple chutney) makes a nice picnic along Boulder Creek Path, a seven-mile multi-use artery running from Valmont Reservoir westward to Boulder Canyon. It’s the Broadway of Boulder.”
